booking policy

a deposit of $50 is required to secure your appointment time. If using a gift voucher, then the GV number must be provided to secure the booking – no number, no booking.

cancellation policy

24 hours notice is required to reschedule your appointment. Any cancellation made after the deadline will result in the loss of your deposit or a $50 reduction in the value of your gift voucher. 

gift vouchers

Please note that all Gift Vouchers are valid for six months from the purchase date. If you cancel or move your appointment within 24 hours your voucher we will deduct $50 from its value. No shows will forfeit the total value of their gift voucher

Gift Voucher refunds/cancellations must be requested within 14 days of the purchase date. All refunds will incur a transaction processing fee of 10% of the voucher value.

Day Spa Packages are discounted from the full treatment price and must be used in one visit. If you spit the package into multiple visits the gift voucher reverts to a monetary amount and an extra payment will be required for the same treatments.

We can customise our beautiful gift vouchers to suit your  needs, whether for a birthday present or a thank you to someone special. We can arrange for payment over the phone or you can purchase on-line. You can organise for the the spa voucher to be emailed or delivered by post (extra charge will apply for postage). Corporate gift vouchers are also available.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and debit cards. We also accept American Express cards but we will pass through their 3% surcharge to you.

check in  

In order to ensure you receive your full allocated treatment time, we suggest that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are late your treatment time will be reduced to avoid inconveniencing other guests. If you are a first time customer as we will need to collect personal details from you in order to best tailor your spa experience.

Our mission is to create an environment of relaxation, so with this in mind, we request that all customers please consider the quiet and privacy needs of other spa customers by keeping noise to a minimum and turning off mobile phones. Parents please note that there are no child-care arrangements at Shambala.

health considerations

For customers who have heart conditions, high blood pressure, allergies, or are pregnant, we advise that you consult your doctor prior to your spa treatment. Please highlight your medical conditions to your spa therapist. Customers are reminded of their obligations under the law for beauty salons & spas to bring to the attention of management any medical condition which may present a public health threat.
